Ruby Loses Focus

Ruby Loses Focus follows Ruby, a bright and imaginative 5th grader whose thoughts sometimes move faster than she can keep up. From classroom noise to misplaced backpacks, Ruby often feels overwhelmed, embarrassed, and misunderstood.

 

After a tough day at school, Ruby finds the courage to speak up—with the support of her parents, teacher, and school social worker. Together, they begin to understand why focusing is hard and explore tools that can help, including breathing exercises, routines, breaks, and supportive accommodations.
